Wentzville Wildcats Youth Cheerleading is a sideline cheer program for children ages 5-14. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the sport of cheerleading, while focusing on teamwork and sportsmanship in a safe, organized, educational and fun program. There is no experience necessary.
Fall cheer will run parallel to fall tackle football from approximately 7/1/2024 to 11/30/2024.
Our Coaching Philosophy:
We will strive to introduce the fundamentals of cheerleading by being committed to our teams and to one another. We will build a strong foundation based on teamwork, trust and loyalty. We will work to be organized, consistent and supportive to make this a fun and educational experience for all.

Registration Dates and Cost:
Registration is open until Saturday, June 29, 2024: $200
Late registration will be extended from June 30 - July 6, 2024: $250
Coach and/or friend requests will not be accepted during the late registration period.
A progressive payment plan is available for fall cheerleading registration.
A $284 equipment deposit is required at equipment pick up.
The deposit will be held until the equipment is returned at the end of the season.
*Additional Equipment Needed:
- white socks, white cheer shoes, black shorts, black leggings, plain black jacket (optional Wildcats jacket available for purchase)
Fall Cheerleading Program Information
- Practices will be held 2 nights/week (typically Tuesday and Thursday, 6-7:30PM) with a possibility of additional practices as needed for special events
- Participation in City of Wentzville 4th of July Parade
- A cheer camp will be held late July/early August
- Opportunity to participate in a recreational cheer competition
Our Goals
- Introduce fundamentals of cheerleading, including cheers, chants, stunts and jumps.
- Promote sportsmanship, friendship and team spirit.
- Have fun while building positive self-esteem.
Fundraising
- We will have multiple options for fundraising depending on your family's interests.
- The cheer program requires each family to participate in one with a fundraising minimum of $100.
- In addition to the work of our volunteers, fundraisers keep our non-profit organization running. We appreciate any and all
participation and support for our program and organization.
